There's little sign of summer taking a holiday this week, with more scorching days and a string of warm nights ahead.

Despite a predicted 38-degree peak on Tuesday in Sydney, much of this week's weather is more likely to be defined by showers in place of the picturesque, though occasionally uncomfortable, weather Sydney has endured this year.
The week's early heat will be more pronounced in Sydney's west, with Penrith set to hit 42 degrees on Monday and Tuesday respectively, before falling closer to 30 for the remainder of the week.
The heat will ease slightly in comparison in Parramatta, reaching 36 degrees on Monday and 41 on Tuesday.
Bureau of Meteorology duty forecaster Andrew Haigh said a brief reprieve is set to come just in time for commuters to begin Tuesday's trip home.
"We'll have a southerly change during the afternoon on Tuesday – that will really be a sharp temperature contrast and cool things down a lot," he said. "Showers and a storm [are] probably likely on Tuesday as well ahead of that change."
Mr Haigh said the weather would offer "a bit of everything on Tuesday."
"[We'll have] a hot night to begin with, a very hot peak in the afternoon, before a much cooler change late in the afternoon."
Even with the cool change, Tuesday night will drop to 24, with the minimum to ease as the week goes on – paling in comparison to some of the overnight minimums closer to 30 degrees in Sydney recently.
There remains a high UV rating at the start of this week, far exceeding the threshold to qualify for the highest danger rating: "extreme".
