Assistant Minister for Cities Angus Taylor says a mayoral roundtable next Thursday, in Luddenham, will start an important period of community engagement on the Western Sydney City Deal – “what it is, what it will deliver, who will be involved”.
“Local governments representing local communities are central to the City Deal,” he said.
“It’s about everyone around the one table, getting the settings right for growth in Western Sydney.”
Assistant Minister Taylor said the City Deal would be a historic agreement, bringing together all levels of government including the eight local councils of Hawkesbury, Blue Mountains, Penrith, Fairfield, Liverpool, Camden, Campbelltown and Wollondilly.
More to come.
