A series of video statements made by Sydney siege gunman Man Haron Monis' partner Amirah Droudis will be the centre of the legal argument to revoke bail.

Ms Droudis, 35, is facing a bail review in the Downing Centre Local Court on Monday, after NSW Attorney-General Brad Hazzard asked the Director of Public Prosecutions to review the decision to grant bail when she was charged with murder.
She was charged in November last year with murdering Noleen Hayson Pal, Monis' ex-wife, who had been stabbed 18 times and then set alight in the stairwell of her Werrington home in April 2013.
Monis was also charged over Ms Pal's death - with inciting, procuring, aiding and counselling Ms Droudis to murder Ms Pal and assisting and harbouring Ms Droudis after the killing. He was also facing more than 40 sexual assault charges involving seven alleged victims.
The Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions, John Pickering, SC, appeared for the DPP and said video evidence - never seen by the courts before - is the main reason the circumstances have changed in terms of continuing Ms Droudis's bail.
The matter, which is being heard by Chief Magistrate Graeme Henson, has been adjourned until noon, while Ms Droudis's legal team view the footage.
It is understood the video is not related to the Martin Place siege, nor is it the widely-shared YouTube video in which Ms Droudis talks about terrorism.
Monday's bail decision is being made under existing bail laws, which replace the presumption against bail for serious offences such as murder with a broad consideration of whether the accused posed an "unacceptable risk" of re-offending.
The amendments to those bail laws, which the government has described as a "toughening up" - and require an accused person to "show cause" as to why they should be granted bail - do not come into effect until January 28.
Mr Henson, who made the decision to hear the case himself, rather than the rostered magistrate John Favrettoreminded those in the courtroom, including a large group of journalists, that everyone was entitled to justice.
"[We can't be] overborne by the emotion of the moment, tragic though it is," Mr Henson said.
"Every person ... is entitled to proper access to justice. It's justice within a democratic country, which should be applied justly and fairly.
"It's simply a court doing what it does everyday, day in, day out."
Ms Droudis remained silent as she weaved her way through a waiting media pack outside the Downing Centre earlier in the morning.
Her step-brother John Aspros yelled out "leave us alone" as journalists asked Ms Droudis whether she condoned what Monis had done.
One journalist asked: "Are you a danger to society?"
Dressed in a beige trench coat and wearing a white, crochet beanie, Ms Droudis sat in court, staring straight ahead, occasionally whispering to Mr Aspros.
