NRL players Ryan Matterson and Sean Keppie and premiership winning coach Ivan Cleary were the special guests at the Heroes with Ability Hero Day event on Saturday at Michael Clarke Recreation Centre.
About 200 participants attended the event which was open to people with disabilities and their families and coincided with International Day of People with Disability. The Heroes with Ability ambassadors helped participants at the sports clinic which included basketball, soccer and AFL stations and an obstacle course
Participants were encouraged to dress as their favourite superhero for the four-hour event.
"It was great event and enjoyed by all," said Heroes with Ability director George Tonna, who thanked major sponsor Afford and partners Parramatta Eels.
