'We are Hughes' announced Bonnet Bay resident and businesswoman Linda Seymour as its preferred community independent candidate for Hughes in the upcoming Federal Election.
The announcement was made at the Bonnet Bay football club with a large crowd in attendance.
The 'We Are Hughes' panel selected Ms Seymour after interviewing five Hughes residents for the role.
