Victorian Health Minister Martin Foley confirmed six new local COVID-19 cases have been recorded.
VICTORIA'S LATEST COVID-19 OUTBREAKS:
* New locally acquired cases (during 24-hour reporting period): Six, including two previously announced cases
* Linked cases: Six
- Three linked to the Hobsons Bay outbreak, all live together in different household to young infected couple
- Three linked to City of Maribyrnong outbreak. They are a housemate of index case who worked as a cleaner at Richmond's Epworth Hospital and two contacts from a separate household in Wyndham Vale, including a student at Warringa Park School in Hoppers Crossing
* Infectious in the community: All
* New hotel quarantine cases: None
* Primary and secondary contacts in isolation: 10,000
* Total active cases in state: 75
* Hospital admissions: Six including two in ICU, both on ventilators
* Exposure sites: More than 65
* Tests conducted (during 24-hour reporting period): 29,631
* Vaccinations at state-run sites (during 24-hour reporting period): 18,901
