Anzac Day commemorative services will be held across Fairfield this year, however events will be much smaller due to ongoing Covid-19 restrictions.

Canley Heights RSL and Sporting Club's popular commemorative service will have a reduced crowd this year with numbers capped at 120 seated guests.

Members had to register their names to go in a ballot to attend the 7am event.

Canley Heights RSL and Sporting Club chief executive Mark Gavinel said it was good to be hosting the event after it was cancelled in 2020.

"It's pleasing to once again be able to hold our Anzac Day service after a year of uncertainty and restrictions," he said.

"I'm looking forward to meeting up with our loyal members as we commemorate this special day."

The club will also donate the proceeds of its regular Sunday afternoon raffle to Legacy.

Fairfield RSL Club's Anzac Day Dawn Service will start at 5.30am at the Fairfield War Memorial at Fairfield Park.

There will be no march this year. Attendees are invited to park at the club.
