Mounties shine on hot day at home

Mounties had tough battles in all three grades at home on Saturday.

Up first in what was set out to be a scorching hot day at Aubrey Keech Reserve was the Mounties Harvey Norman Women's Premiership Team who outclassed and outmuscled a strong South Sydney Rabbitohs with a convincing 34-10 Victory.

Next up the Ron Massey Cup Mounties team were out to make up for a previous disappointing loss to the Bulls on home soil and were too strong for Blacktown Workers bringing it home with a 34-16 victory.

After two cracking wins, it set up a grandstand finish in the Knock on Effect NSW Cup with South Sydney emerging victorious 24-22.
