Victorian police will prepare a report for the coroner after a man drowned at a Gippsland beach.
A Victorian man has died and a woman has been taken to hospital after a boat overturned in the state's southeast.
The pair were thrown off the boat at Mcloughlins Beach in Gippsland after it rolled about 1pm on Monday.
Another boat took them back to shore but emergency services could not revive the man and he died at the scene, police said.
The woman was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
