Two teenagers have been charged over their alleged roles in the stabbing of a man at Hinchinbrook last night.
About 9.45pm on Tuesday, March 24, emergency services were called to the corner of Flinders Crescent and Wilson Road after reports a man had been stabbed.
On arrival officers found a 28-year-old man suffering stab wounds to his abdomen and shoulder.
He was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Liverpool hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Following inquiries, officers arrested a 19-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy nearby and both were taken to Liverpool Police Station.
The 19-year-old man was charged with reckless wounding and was refused bail to appear before Liverpool Local Court today (March 25).
The 17-year-old boy was charged with reckless wounding (accessory after the fact). He was granted strict conditional bail to appear at a Children's Court on Wednesday, April 15.
