Liverpool mayor Wendy Waller said the upcoming free Seniors Concerts are an opportunity to "celebrate the contributions" of residents older than 60 have made to the city in their lifetime.
Fresh off the back of the successful Seniors Festival, two Seniors Concerts will be staged at Liverpool Catholic Club in April.
The concerts are a perennial favourite among the over 60s community in Liverpool with attendees receiving lunch and a performance by Tony Sergi.
"Liverpool City Council is committed to the seniors community of Liverpool," Mayor Waller said.
"Those interested in attending will need to be quick - our concert held last November was in such high demand that tickets were reserved within hours."
Council's Seniors Concert will be held from 10.30am to 2.30pm on Wednesday, April 22 and Thursday, April 23 at Liverpool Catholic Club. Tickets will be limited to two per person and are only available to residents of Liverpool and members of Liverpool-based seniors' groups who are more than 60 years of age.
- Tickets to the free event can be reserved from 9am, Wednesday, March 11, at liverpool.nsw.gov.au/seniorsconcert, by calling 8711 7119 or visiting Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre.
