POLICE | Man, 45, arrested after a string of burglaries at Liverpool

A man, 45, was arrested yesterday morning and charged over multiple break-enter-and-steal offences at Liverpool.

About 10.40am on Wednesday, December 4, Liverpool detectives went to a unit block on Shepherd Street as part of their investigation into burglaries there.

One man's unit was searched and several items reported stolen were recovered.

They arrested the man, 45, who lives there.

Police say he was involved in break-and-enters on December 2 and 3.

He was taken to Liverpool police station and charged with break, enter and steal (x 4), malicious damage and having suspected stolen goods.

Bail was refused. He's due in Liverpool court today, Thursday, December 5.
