SCULPTURE WALK | New sculptures added to artists' walk
Mayor Wendy Waller is proud to reveal there will be three more sculptures on the Liverpool Sculpture Walk, making it a total of 10 sculptures installed along the Georges River trail at Casula from Sculpture by the Sea.
"This is something Liverpool wanted - high-quality public art," she said. "And I'm so glad we can bring you more than we'd originally planned. Ten sculptures of such high quality will have a happy home at the Casula Parklands for the next nine months or so.
These works are of an international standard. They're thought-provoking and invite a reaction.
WENDY WALLER, mayor
"I can't wait to see how people react to the sculptures after Saturday's opening. These works are of an international standard. They're thought-provoking and invite a reaction. If you can't make the opening, there'll be plenty of time to enjoy the works in a unique setting along the Georges River."
The Liverpool Sculpture Walk opening is from 4.30pm to 7.30pm at Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre this Saturday.
