GROWING THE SOUTH-WEST | 1000 land lots sold at $1b masterplanned estate

Dahua Group's New Breeze estate at Bardia continues to be one of the South-West's fastest-selling masterplanned communities, having reached the milestone of 1000 land lots sold.

The group bought the 89-hectare land parcel from Landcom in 2015 and started selling land in the $1-billion masterplanned community in April the next year.

Dahua chief executive Eric Li said: "New Breeze is our first major project in the South-West. We expect to finish selling land in this community by mid next year.

"Buyers have appreciated the lifestyle that's been created as well as the aesthetics of the community, including the 40-hectare green corridor.

"House-hunters who bought in the early stages of the project have been our greatest sales advocates. The consultants involved with this project should be very proud of this thriving community. More than 350 residents now call it home. Dahua Group aims to enhance our competitive advantage by delivering urban developments that blend with the local environment and provide world-class amenities."

New Breeze sales manager Stephen Bambury said: "This is a meticulously designed development centred on an expansive green corridor with great parks, barbecue areas and walking and cycling trails, all close to schools, shops and major transport infrastructure. These attributes have greatly contributed to its success. There have been lots ranging from 201 to 1962 square metres and homes appealing to a broad cross-section of buyers."

Ultimately, New Breeze will comprise 1264 new homes with a range of housing to suit various lifestyles and budgets.

The development will include large high-quality parks and playgrounds, a sports oval, bike and cycle paths.

Land lots are priced from $319,900. All lots are easy-build and in walking distance of the new parks and nature corridor.

New Breeze is eight kilometres from Liverpool's CBD and 49 kilometres from Sydney's CBD.

It's at the gateway to the expanding South-West Growth Centre and has access to the new airport, which is about 27 kilometres away.
