POLICE | Stolen BMW recovered and man, 22, at Wattle Grove charged over break-and-enter at Earlwood

A man is due in court today charged over an alleged aggravated break-and-enter in Sydney's Inner West last week.

Police have been told about 11pm on Monday last week, November 11, five unknown men forced entry into a house on Keith Street at Earlwood and stole a BMW X5, documents, wallets and cash. No one was at home at the time.

Burwood police were notified and officers attended. A crime scene was established and an investigation begun.

Following inquiries, a house was searched on Wattle Grove Drive at Wattle Grove about noon yesterday, Tuesday, November 19.

A man, 22, was arrested and taken to Liverpool police station.

During the search, police found and seized a BMW X5, cash, firearm parts, ammunition, handcuffs, a baton and prohibited drugs believed to be cocaine and testosterone.

He was charged with having suspected stolen goods, having a prohibited drug and a prescribed restricted substance (x 2).

He was also charged with two outstanding warrants for robbery, traffic and assault-related offences. He was refused bail and is due in Liverpool court later today, Wednesday, November 20.
