GROWING THE SOUTH-WEST | Property Council welcomes EIS for Western Sydney's M12

We welcome the EIS for the planned 16-kilometre M12 connecting the M7 and Northern Road to the new airport. It'll be the east-west spine for the airport hub and an important step in unlocking employment.

It's another step in delivering the Western Sydney City Deal, a written agreement between federal, state and local governments. The Property Council was a pioneer in supporting city deals.

Input from the private sector is crucial to ensuring the target of 200,000 jobs for the aerotropolis is met over the next 20 years. EIS on show to November 18. Submissions via the Major Projects section of NSW Government's Planning Portal.
