GROWING THE SOUTH-WEST | New display village including sustainable-living going up at Willowdale

A new display village is taking shape at Stockland's Willowdale community at DenhamCourt, with display designs created specifically for 25-metre and 28-metre-deep blocks and it will have 23 new-look home designs from 13 leading builders.

Eden Brae Homes is the first to open a home in the new display village.

"This new display village will be a unique experience for house-hunters looking to build a home in Sydney's thriving southern corridor,'' Stockland's Richard Rhydderch said.

"In addition to displaying the most recent approaches in home design, it'll offer solutions for building on shallow lots as well as demonstrate sustainable-living concepts.

"Willowdale accommodates buyers of varying budgets and stages of life."

The new display village will include some 7-star NatHERS energy-efficient house designs that demonstrate the use of innovative sustainable design and construction.

Several silver-level LHA homes will also be on display.

Buyers keen for inspiration from the latest trends can visit a design by award-winning builder Eden Brae Homes at 26 Joey Crescent, the first display home to open in the village.

All of the 23 homes comprising the new Willowdale display village are due to be completed by November.

Willowdale -- which is now home to more than 4000 residents -- has a range of affordable-living options available including land lots, house-and-land packages, townhomes, completed homes and also retirement living.

The award-winning 350-hectare community also has an environmental stamp of approval with the internationally-recognised 6 Green Star Communities rating for its world-leading design excellence, innovation and environmental stewardship as well as future economic prosperity and liveability.

The Denham Court community is 15 kilometres from Liverpool and around 37 kilometres from Parramatta and Sydney Airport, with convenient access to the M5 and M7 motorways, and the new Leppington railway station.
