POLICE | Harrington Park man, 39, in Liverpool hospital with gunshot wound

Police are appealing for information after a man was shot at Harrington Park just before midnight on Wednesday night.

About 11.40pm, police were alerted to reports of gunshots being heard by residents on Doolan Crescent.

Camden police officers arrived a short time later and canvassed the area.

About 12.10am on Thursday, August 15, a man, 39, presented to Liverpool hospital with a gunshot wound to his arm.

He remains in a stable condition.

Police were notified and an investigation begun.

As inquiries continue, police would like to speak to anyone who may have any information about this.

A white Volkswagen Golf sedan was seen in the area about the time of the alleged shooting and any information regarding its driver or passengers may help police with their inquiries.
