POLICE | Witnesses sought after Miller supermarket robbed at gunpoint

Police are investigating an armed robbery at a Miller supermarket last week.

About 7pm last Friday, July 5, a man entered a shopping complex on Cartwright Avenue.

He then threatened the supermarket security guard and another employee with a gun, demanding money, before running away with the cash.

Liverpool police officers and the dog squad arrived and began inquiries.

The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, between 180 to 185 centimetres tall and in his early 20s.

At the time of the robbery he was seen wearing a balaclava, an orange-and-blue fluoro jacket, long dark pants and black sneakers. He carried a dark sports bag.

The staff were not injured.

Investigations are continuing and anyone who may have information or dash-cam vision is urged to contact Liverpool police station, 9765 9499.
