
Chipping Norton-based judo club Tiger-Do Martial dominated the recent National Judo Titles on the Gold Coast winning 10 medals.
Twins Marissa and Deana Finka were crowned national champions in the senior girls under-52 kilogram and under-57 kilogram categories. The 14-year-olds won all their throws by Ippon, judo's highest point win.

Mak Vugdalic, of Liverpool, claimed back-to-back national titles when he won the senior boys over-66 kilogram weight class. Hamzah Rashid won his first ever national title in the junior boys under 50-kilogram class. Liam McClifty, who won silver in the under-55 kilogram cadet men's division, was also selected to represent Australian in the Asia-Pacific Championships in July.
Other medallists included Liam's younger brother, Nicholas who won bronze in the senior boys under-45 class, Ivona Rivstevski (silver in the senior girls under-48 kilogram), Lachlan Cook (silver in junior boys under-27 kilogram) and Jad Reda (silver in the junior men under-60 kilogram and bronze in the cadet men 60 kilogram).
