POLICE | Wetherill Park police arrest man over alleged drug supply at dance festival

A man has been arrested by WetherillPark region-enforcement squad officers following an investigation into drug supply at a western Sydney dance party earlier this month.

Officers from South West Metropolitan Region ran a police operation in response to the Midnight Mafia Music Festival at SydneyShowground on May 11.

As part of the operation, officers from Wetherill Park region-enforcement squad were investigating the supply of prohibited drugs in and around festival areas.

Following extensive investigations, a man, 20, was arrested at a home at KellyvilleRidge just before 8am today, Thursday, May 23.

The man, who attended the festival, was taken to Riverstone police station to be charged with supplying drugs.

Inquiries continue.
