Sydney United 58's four match unbeaten run has ended at the hands of Manly United. Goals to Charles Mendy and Adam Parkhouse put the home team on the front foot, with Brendan Cholakian sealing the 3-0 result which moves them into fifth place - one point behind the Reds. Meanwhile, Japanese midfielder Takeru Okada powered the league-leading Wollongong Wolves to a come-from-behind 3-1 win against the Marconi Stallions at Marconi Stadium on Saturday. Stallions skipper Marko Jesic had a mixed night - scoring the opening goal and missing a penalty that would have restored parity as part of a frantic 14-minutes that yielded four goals. This Saturday (7pm) they play APIA at home.
