Jeff Horn says a fight with Tim Tszyu would be a massive event for Australian boxing.

Jeff Horn says Tim Tszyu might possibly beat him one day but he's there to be hit and has given him some free advice.

Former WBO welterweight boxing world champion Horn was at ringside for Tszyu's points win over Australian super welterweight champion Joel Camilleri on Wednesday.

Tszyu called Horn out after the fight, but the Queenslander insisted the unbeaten Sydneysider wasn't ready to fight him yet.

Horn said it would be a massive bout for Australian boxing and a potential big money earner.

He said Tszyu landed the bigger, cleaner shots but it was a good test for him and Camilleri had exposed some holes.

"I thought he did well, but he definitely got found out a little bit with the overhand right Camilleri was landing constantly on him," Horn said.

'Especially at the start of the fight, he got that cut from it

"So he's there to be hit at the moment Tim, he's go to learn to get his head off the centre."

Tszyu's management have suggested two other Australians, Dwight Ritchie and Michaels Zerafa as potential opponents before a clash with Horn.

'They've named a fight plan to get to me because they know they are not ready right now," Horn said.

"That would be a loss in his career and I don't think they want that just yet, even though his dad is confident he could beat me.

"Yes he possibly could beat me in the future but he can't right now."

Horn, whose last bout was against Anthony Mundine in November, won't fight again until late August or early September

He expects to fight at super welterweight or even heavier for his next bout but wouldn't rule out going back to welterweight for a massive payday.

"I just want big fights or big paying fights, they are the only ones I'm really interested in these days," Horn said.

Tszyu was confident his camp wouldn't need to chase Horn's promoter Dean Lonergan for the fight.

"I know he's gong to run out of options soon and when he runs out of those options he'll know who to call," Tszyu said.,

Horn understands the attraction of the Tszyu name having watched Tim's father Kostya, the undisputed former light welterweight world champion

"He was extraordinary, so explosive, so fast," Horn said.

"I see Tim doesn't quite have what his dad had, but he definitely has the power if he can connect."
