Defending champions Mounties maintained their unbeaten start to the NSW Women's Premiership with a 24-6 win against Cabramatta at New Era Stadium on Saturday.
The black and golds dominated the local derby from the outset with winger Jenaye Collins crossing the strip inside the opening two minutes followed by four-pointers to Kaitlyn Phillips and Patricia Raikadroka.
A Melissa Peters try on half-time made the score 14-6 as the home team rallied after a slow start following an extended break.
But tries to Taliah Fuimaono and Tommaya Kelly-Sines sealed Mounties fourth straight win to start their premiership defence making eight line-breaks and 46 tackle busts in the process.
They are now in first place after four rounds alongside North Sydney.
For Cabramatta, it was their first loss of the year from their three games. This Sunday they play the eight-placed Magpies, while Mounties host the bottom-placed Bulldogs.
