Southern Districts Softball Association made it consecutive Softball NSW under-10s state titles with a dominant display at the weekend.

The team, which only had one player return from their successful 2018 campaign, went through the two-day tournament at Cowpasture Reserve in Camden undefeated scoring 155 runs and conceding only 65 runs in the modified tee-ball format.

The Malcolm Nunn-coached team defeated hosts Macarthur (19-10), Penrith (15-5), Newcastle (27-9), Cumberland (13-8), Georges River (15-6), Campbelltown (18-12 ) and Sutherland (28-10) on their way to finishing on top of the ladder. They continued their dominance in the grand final defeating Cumberland 20-5 to defend their title from 2018.

"The team played well throughout every game, with a massive achievement being undefeated," Nunn said.

"They gelled well together considering they only had seven training sessions together."

Captain Ayden Hamilton said: "I love how everyone played with good sportsmanship."

Manager Samantha Dooley added: "The team played beyond their years. Everyone is so proud of them."

Coaching staff: coach: Malcolm Nunn, assistant coaches: Jesse Walsh and Zac Roberts, managers: Samantha Dooley and Coral-Anne Walsh and scorer: Jodie Nunn.
