From the humble sausage roll to high-concept desserts and contemporary takes on much-loved classics, South West Sydney's best eateries will be offering a tantalising array of international cuisine at a new food festival called Liverpool on a Roll.
Festival goers can treat themselves to food from every continent in the world (except Antarctica) on Saturday, March 30 when Liverpool's rich multicultural fabric is showcased at Greenway Park in West Hoxton.
Created as a celebration of the city's vibrant multicultural community, people can try international cuisine presented 'on a roll', including banh mi, bao, or burgers.
"Food remains a bridge between cultures, helping to forge friendships and uniting people from all walks of life," Liverpool Mayor Wendy Waller said.
