Free concert: Liverpool Council will host a free Seniors Concert on April 17 and 18 at Liverpool Catholic Club. Liverpool Mayor Wendy Waller said the concert was a perennial favourite among older members of the community. It is open to senior residents of the Liverpool Council area and members of Liverpool-based seniors groups only. Support the cause: Chief Fluid Systems, 42/85-115 Alfred Road, Chipping Norton will take part in the World’s Greatest Shave on Friday, March 15 from noon to help raise funds for the Leukaemia Foundation. There will be a lunch as well as two charity auctions, arcade games, lucky door prizes, a prize wheel and an appearance by the Five-7 Racing Speedcar. Protect park: Fairfield Indigenous Flora Park on the banks of Orphan School Creek needs volunteers for a working bee on on Saturday, March 16 from 9am-noon. The park is one of the few remnant bushland areas in Fairfield and contains a critically endangered ecological community called Cumberland Plain Woodland which is a vital habitat for native animals and invertebrates.
