PET OF THE WEEK | Peru wants to give you his heart

Our Pet of the week is Peru, a male crossbreed Staffordshire terrier who’s four years old and large in size – about 29.2 kilograms.

Peru is a playful and loving boy who’s very keen to find a home.

He loves having fun out in the yard at the shelter and does get the zoomies from time to time, especially if you encourage him.

Peru is quite shy at first but once you get to know him, he will give you his whole heart.

Affection is what he needs and he’ll open up and come out of his shell with you and, in fact, he gets upset if he doesn't get it.

Yes, he does get along with energetic female dogs well and may like a companion.

Handsome Peru would just love a home where he can be somebody's best boy.

Come and visit adoring Peru at the animal shelter and feel free to bring a companion animal to do a match-up.

His adoption fee is just $150 (usually $368) and this includes desexing, microchipping, vaccination, flea treatment, worming and lifetime registration in NSW.
