Police investigating a break, enter and steal in Canley Heights have released an image of a man in an appeal for public assistance.
Between 1pm and 3.20pm on Saturday, January 5, police were called to a home on Barlow Crescent following reports of a break and enter.
Jewellery, electronics, credit cards and personal items were stolen from the property.
Following the incident several financial transactions were made at stores in Cabramatta and Liverpool.
Officers from Fairfield City Police Area Command launched an investigation into the incident and have now released a security footage image of a man they would like to speak to.
The man is depicted as being aged in his 20s or 30s, of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, with a medium build and beard.
He is depicted as wearing dark-coloured shorts, a purple t-shirt with a print on the front and a camouflage-coloured hat.
