A man has died after being electrocuted at a Moorebank factory yesterday afternoon.

About 2pm, emergency services were called to the factory on Regent Crescent after reports of an electrocution.

Fire & Rescue officers rescued four men from the roof of the factory, while another man, 24, remained there unable to be freed until the power was turned off.

All four men were examined at the scene by ambulance paramedics. Three did not require further treatment, one was taken to Liverpool hospital in a stable condition to be treated for burns on his legs.

Emergency services were able to reach the man, 24, once Endeavour Energy turned off power to the building but he was unable to be revived and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

A crime scene was established and Work Cover officers were helping with inquiries.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
