POLICE | Constable Timothy Proctor funeral

The funeral service for Probationary Constable Timothy Proctor was held this morning at All Saints Catholic Church at Liverpool.

Original story and tributes here.

Detective Chief Inspector Dean Johnstone, of Liverpool police, said: “Constable Tim Proctor attested from the Police Academy on April 27 last year and was posted to Liverpool. He was one of 15 new recruits, the first class who graduated to the newly restructured Liverpool Area Command.

“Tim immediately fitted in to his role and the policing lifestyle and presented as an eager probationary constable who wanted only to serve the community, further evidenced by the fact he was a volunteer with the Rural Fire Service before joining the police.

“During his service as a police officer, he was professional and dedicated, well respected and likeable among his peers at Liverpool. His service in the Police Force was tragically cut short, however, his impact on his colleagues, friends and the community was immeasurable.

“His tragic loss has been heartfelt by Liverpool police and he’ll be sorely missed but forever remembered by all. RIP, Constable Timothy Proctor.”
