Police investigating Friday’s murder of a man at a BossleyPark hair salon are appealing for public help as inquiries continue.

About 12.40pm on Friday, emergency services were called to a hair salon on Mimosa Road where they found a man, 20, with a stab wound to his upper body.

He was taken to Liverpool hospital, where he died about 5pm.

Following inquiries, a Bossley Park man, 18, was arrested and charged with murder.

Fairfield police formed Strike Force Etival to investigate, with help from the State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad.

As their inquiries continues, investigators have released a photo of a motorcyclist and would like to speak to anyone who recalls seeing this rider either before or after the murder.

Police are also keen to hear from anyone who may have dashcam footage that might help.
