POLICE | Bossley Park salon stabbing victim dies, teen charged with his murder

A male teenager has been charged with murder following the death of the young victim of yesterday’s stabbing at a BossleyPark hair salon.

About 12.40pm yesterday, emergency services were called to the salon on Mimosa Road, where they found a man, 20, with a stab wound to his upper body.

He was taken to Liverpool hospital, where he died about 5pm.

Following inquiries, a man, 18 was arrested at a home on Tallowood Crescent at BossleyPark just before 5pm and was taken to Fairfield police station.

Strike Force Etival was established by Fairfield police, helped by the State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad, to investigate the circumstances of the incident.

The teenager has now been charged with murder. He’s been refused bail to be in Parramatta bail court later today.
