The health care service gives local residents greater access to GP care ensuring they don’t attend hospital emergency departments unnecessarily. U3A Liverpool: For over 50s with classes in art and craft, computers, creative writing, history, meditation and more. Enrolment days for 2019 are on Thursday and Friday, January 10 and 11 from 10am-noon each day at the Dr Pirie Centre, corner Bigge and Moore Streets, Liverpool. Volunteers needed: Liverpool Parenting Centre, 10 Murphy Avenue, Liverpool is a free service that provides support for local families with children under five. Liverpool Historical Society: For $20 annual membership members can attend a meeting and then tour a historic building or location. Meetings are the second Saturday of the month. Details: Glen, 0403 107 496.


Sydney Bazaar: With Thrift Stall, where you drop off unwanted items and collect your cash when sold. No commissions. Bring unwanted items to the bazaar and they will try to sell them for you. For everyone and everything. Bring items in and add to the sale table. Once sold come in and collect your cash or they can EFT you the money. Learn Spanish: Amistad Latina Spanish School offers classes every Monday for children aged 5-15 at Fairfield High School, The Horsley Drive from 3.50pm-5.50pm. Meet Santa: Casula Rural Fire Brigade will conduct Santa Runs in the lead-up to Christmas Day. The first one will be Wednesday, December 19 when Santa and the fire truck will be at Pleasure Point at 6.15pm and then move onto Voyager Park at 7pm. On Thursday, December 20 Santa and the fire truck will be at Lakeside Park, Wattle Grove at 6.15pm, moving on to Cameron Park, Wattle Grove at 7.10pm. On Friday, December 21 the children can meet Santa on the fire truck from 6.15pm at Daruk Park, Casula and from 7.10pm at Wilson Park, Casula.

Men’s Shed: Community-based non-profit organisation which aims to provide a safe, friendly environment for men to work on meaningful projects. Activities include carpentry, wood turning, computer work, metal fabrication and welding as well as table games and other hobbies.
