Injured man identified at Chester Hill

A man who remains in a critical condition at hospital after being found unconscious this morning has now been identified.

The man was found slumped against a fence near the intersection of Miller Road and Fuller Street, Chester Hill, shortly after 2am on Monday December 3.

He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Liverpool Hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

Following the media appeal, officers from Bankstown Police Area Command have now been able to identify the man, 21, from Bankstown.

Police would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance.

It is yet to be determined how the man became ill.
