Brendan Hamill to lead Western Sydney Wanderers for upcoming A-League season.

Chipping Norton FC product Brendan Hamill will captain the Western Sydney Wanderers in the upcoming A-League season. Hamill, who made his red and black debut in 2014 after stints at Melbourne Heart and K-League side Seongnam FC, played a key role in the club’s AFC Champions League success in his first year and last season was named part of the club’s captaincy group alongside veteran Mark Bridge. 

“Brendan Hamill is our captain because since I have come to the club he has been fantastic,” coach Markus Babbel said.
