NSW Police investigate armed robberies at Ingleburn and Villawood brothels: Video and Photos

A police strike force is investigating the armed robbery of brothels in Ingleburn and Villawood earlier this year.

Three men – one armed with a firearm – stormed a business on Birmingham Road, Villawood just before 2am on Monday, January 15 and threatened employees.

They stole cash and mobile phones and assaulted a 56-year-old man, who sustained minor injuries to his arms and lip.

In a separate incident, about 3am, three men – one armed with a firearm – entered a business on Lancaster Street, Ingleburn.

They threatened a 58-year-old male employee before taking cash and fleeing the scene.

Specialist forensic officers examined both locations.

Detectives from the Robbery and Serious Crime Squad established Strike Force Moogerah to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incidents, which they believe are linked.

As part of the investigation, police investigators seized two paintball guns – believed to be used in the robberies – during a search at a property in the Fairfield area.

The guns are undergoing forensic examination.

Strike force detectives today released CCTV footage and images of the three men they believe can assist with inquiries.

They are described as being of Pacific Islander appearance, aged in their late teens or early 20s and wearing baggy clothing.

Anyone who recognises the men or has any information regarding the crimes is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
