A victim is in Liverpool Hospital after a man allegedly stabbed him in south west Sydney last night.
About 6.30pm on Tuesday July 10 a man allegedly attacked a man, 30, at the front of a property on Eurabbie Place, Macquarie Fields.
The attacker, 23, fled the scene after the older man received stab wounds to his face and back.
Shortly after the injured man drove to a home on Cottonwood Crescent, Macquarie Fields, where emergency services were called.
He was taken to Liverpool Hospital for treatment to several puncture wounds and a partially severed right ear.
He is understood to be in a stable condition.
Police from Campbelltown Police Area Command established crime scenes on Eurabbie Place and Cottonwood Crescent.
Police attended a home on Maple Place, Macquarie Fields, and arrested the alleged offender after a struggle.
He was taken to Campbelltown Police Station where he was charged with wound person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and resist arrest.
He was refused bail to appear at Campbelltown Local Court today on Wednesday July 11.
