Fire fighters respond to blaze on Jedda Road on June 13

Fire fighters are working together to contain a blaze in Prestons on Wednesday afternoon.

More than a dozen Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) crews have responded to calls about a factory fire on Jedda Road.

The fire broke out about 1.50pm on June 13.

The building is well alight and a lot of smoke is visible in the area.

On Twitter, FRNSW confirmed that all occupants in the factory were safe.

FRNSW also stated that a truck near the factory was also alight.

The fire has led to traffic condition changes in Prestons.

According to Live Traffic NSW, there is currently no access for motorists heading from Hoxton Park Road onto Ash Road.

This change is affecting traffic in both directions.

Motorists are urged to reduce speed in the area.
