Woman injured during break and enter in Lurnea on June 10

Police are appealing for information after an aggravated break and enter in Lurnea on Sunday.

Between 7 and 9am, a 47-year-old woman was asleep in a unit on Wonga Road when a person allegedly forced entry into the residence.

A struggle ensued between the two, and the woman sustained injuries to her face, hip and hand.

The person, whose gender is unknown at this stage, was wearing a dark-coloured balaclava, a dark-coloured tracksuit and gloves and fled empty-handed.

An investigation has been launched by police.
