LOCAL BUSINESS AWARDS | Time to nominate a favourite business

Few things show a business how much their efforts are appreciated by customers than being nominated for an award.

2017 NOMINEES: Some of the staff at Service NSW Greenway Plaza for Specialised Business.

Precedent Productions’ managing director and Local Business Awards founder Steve Loe said one of the best ways customers can show their gratitude for fine service and products was to nominate their favourite businesses for a Liverpool Local Business Award.

“Business people are always grateful to get a smile and a thank-you from customers,” he said. “But spreading the word and helping their business prosper is the best gift a business person can get. Being a finalist or winner in the awards brings with it great publicity that can boost their business.”

Nominations close May 29. Everyone who nominates a business will be in the running to win a Nespresso KitchenAid Coffee Machine.

Mr Loe said he had been amazed by the huge number of nominations already. “It just shows the great regard that the Liverpool community has for its local businesses.”

Every finalist gets a certificate and category winners get a trophy. “I love seeing how proudly these certificates and trophies are displayed, and business people have told me they always get congratulations from customers.”
