PET OF THE WEEK | Turbo wants to charge your household

TURBO: He'd suit any household where the family could provide regular walks and play times. Some down-time with cuddles and affection is also a must for him.

Meet Turbo, a three-year-old male Rottweiler who’s black and tan.  He’s quite a large dog, weighing in at 43.8 kilograms. He’s a lovely Rottweiler. He’s very keen to please, particularly if treats are involved.

He would suit any household where the family members could provide regular walks and play times. Some down-time with cuddles and affection is also a must for him.

Liverpool Animal Shelter

He gets on with most dogs and a meet’n’greet would be required to encourage and ensure compatibility. He’d also suit a cat-free household.

As Pet of the Week, Turbo’s adoption fee is only $150 (it’s usually $359) and this all-inclusive fee covers microchipping, desexing, vaccination, flea and worm treatments and lifetime registration in NSW.

If you’d like to adopt him ask yourself: Can I handle a puppy best or would a mature dog be better? What size dog is best for me? Should the dog have endless energy or be a couch potato to watch TV with? Is my home noisy or quiet? What breeds and behaviours am I best equipped for? How secure is my yard?
