Just a few weeks before marrying Britain's Prince Harry, US actress Meghan Markle has exchanged vows in another wedding, though this time in the television drama Suits.
Her character, Rachel Zane, married her partner, Mike Ross - played by Patrick J Adams - in a series finale of the legal drama, which was broadcast in the US on Wednesday evening.
Markle announced previously that she would leave the series in order to concentrate on her new role as part of the British royal family.
In contrast to the low-key fictional ceremony, Markle's marriage on May 19 in Windsor, England will be accompanied by a gospel choir, hundreds of guests and is expected to be watched by millions across the globe.
Markle gained prominence through the series, in which she has played the ambitious New York paralegal since 2011. Markle's character was written out of the show with a move with her new husband to Seattle.
