THE DUKE AND DUCHESS OF CAMBRIDGE DISCUSS PARENTING, KIDS AND THE NEW ROYAL BABY:
WILLIAM AND KATE LEAVE HOSPITAL
"Thrice the worry now," William told reporters, holding up three fingers with a smile, as he got into a Land Rover to take his wife and newborn back to Kensington Palace.
"Very happy, very excited, thank you," he said.
Kate, wearing a red dress, smiled at hundreds of well-wishers gathered outside St Mary's Hospital in west London.
The baby weighed 3.8kg.
NEW PRINCE'S NAME
"You'll find out sooner or later," William said when asked about a name. Bookmakers have made Albert, Arthur, Jack and Fred the favoured names for a boy.
GEORGE
"It went well. There was one other parent who had more of an issue with their children - so I was quite pleased I wasn't the one" - William on George's first day at school
"George rules the roost and Charlotte isn't far behind" - William after George began full-time education.
CHARLOTTE
"I think she's going to be trouble when she's older. All fathers say that" - William.
"She likes sparkly things" - William.
PARENTING
"There is no rule book, no right or wrong - you just have to make it up and do the very best you can to care for your family. For many mothers, myself included, this can, at times lead to lack of confidence and feelings of ignorance" - Kate.
"I've got such fond memories of being in the garden and being outside from my own childhood, and I'm sharing that with my own children, George and Charlotte, at the moment" - Kate.
"Childhood is an incredibly important moment in our lives... Our experience of the world at this early stage helps to shape who we become as adults and how we begin to feel comfortable in our own skin" - Kate.
