Bus driver threatened with firearm at Ashcroft

An investigation is underway after a bus driver was threatened with a firearm at Ashcroft today.

About 9.15am on Saturday April 14 a man entered a bus on Elizabeth Drive armed with a firearm.

Police have been told the man threatened the driver before fleeing.

It’s not known whether the firearm was real or a replica.

No one was injured.

Police from Liverpool Police conducted a large search of the area. However, they were unable to locate the man.

Inquiries are continuing and anyone with information is urged to come forward.
