Police are asking for witnesses to come forward after a fatal crash at Milton yesterday after which one of the drivers was taken to Liverpool Hospital.
Emergency services attended Matron Porter Drive at Milton about 3.50pm yesterday after reports a westbound Volvo and an eastbound Subaru had collided head on.
A female Subaru passenger, 36, couldn’t be revived at the scene.
The male Subaru driver, 36, was taken to Liverpool Hospital with critical leg and head injuries.
The male Volvo driver, 39, was taken to Milton Hospital for observation and mandatory blood and urine tests.
A boy passenger, 5, was taken to the Children’s Hospital at Randwick with a critical head wound.
Shoalhaven police responded and established a crime scene. Crash Investigation Unit officers attended and started inquiries into the crash.
