About 2.15am a woman driving a Hyundai i30 on Weston Street, Panania, was indicated to pull over by police but didn’t stop and a pursuit was initiated.

The vehicle travelled on River Road at a high speed, before failing to negotiate a left hand turn on to the M5 at Revesby, crashing into a barrier.

The woman, allegedly a disqualified driver, was arrested at the scene.

Although uninjured, she was submitted to Liverpool Hospital for observation. It is expected charges will follow.
