Man injured following shooting in Liverpool

Police have appealed to the community for information after a man arrived at hospital with a gunshot wound overnight.

Shortly after 8pm yesterday (Tuesday July 11), a man was dropped at Liverpool Hospital with a gunshot wound to his leg.

Police have been told the man arrived in a small white hatchback, possibly a Toyota Corolla.

The injured 29-year-old man was treated by medical staff and police from Liverpool Local Area Command were contacted.

The man is not assisting police.

Investigators have appealed for anyone with information about the shooting to come forward.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
