Ride Along
Cinema release March 27
American stand-up comedian Kevin Hart brings his fast-talking comedy to the big screen in Ride Along.
In the vein of buddy-cop movies like Rush Hour and Cop Out, Ride Along sees Kevin Hart's security guard character Ben spend one 24-hour patrol with his Atlanta cop brother-in-law-to-be James (played by the ever-watchable Ice Cube, 21 Jump Street) to prove he is worthy of marrying fiancée Angela. Also stars John Leguizamo (Romeo and Juliet).
Captain America: The Winter Soldier
Cinema release April 3
From the new film studio juggernaut that is Marvel, Captain America: The Winter Soldier sees the solo return of the all-American hero (Chris Evans), with Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) by his side.
Thrust into the modern world, Captain America (now post-Avengers shenanigans) must learn to deal with the present day whilst fighting an historic villain - the Winter Soldier.
Making up for an unfortunate lack of Tommy Lee Jones, The Winter Soldier adds film veteran Robert Redford to the cast.
The Lego Movie
Cinema release April 3
The animation that dominated the US box office, The Lego Movie, looks to be more than just an hour-and-a-half of product placement.
The duo that brought 21 Jump Street and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs to the screen is responsible for this pop culture-fest of a film, featuring the voice talents of Will Ferrell, Elizabeth Banks, Morgan Freeman, Jonah Hill, Liam Neeson, Channing Tatum and more in various fun and ridiculous roles.
