Liverpool man charged over drug offences

A man has been charged over drug and transport offences in Liverpool yesterday.

About 9.50am, Thursday, February 20, officers attached to the Police Transport Command stopped and searched a 25-year-old Bankstown man at Liverpool railway station.

They allegedly located over thirty small packages of methylamphetamine, cannabis, a glass pipe and cash.

The man was arrested at the scene and taken to Liverpool police station, where he was charged with supplying prohibited drugs, possessing prohibited drug and drug equipment, deal with proceeds of crime and travel on the train without valid ticket.

He was bail refused, to appear before Liverpool Local Court today, February 21.
